A global pharmaceutical company with a manufacturing site in Tipperary is looking for a
Desktop Support Engineer
to support ~100 users in a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on, full-time role with significant growth potential — including a path to Site Lead or Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Tier 1–3 desktop support (hardware, software, network).
* Support Windows 11, Microsoft Teams, and Windows Server.
* Work across infrastructure areas — networking, system admin, cloud (Azure, AWS).
* Collaborate with global teams using a "follow-the-sun" support model.
* Take ownership of issues and drive solutions independently.
Ideal Candidate
* 3–5+ years of IT desktop/infrastructure support experience.
* MSP background or multi-tiered support experience is a plus.
* Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments.
* Comfortable being the on-site point of contact for infrastructure needs.
* Eager to grow into leadership roles.
