Estimator Role for Mechanical Systems
We're seeking a skilled mechanical estimator to join our team. As an integral part of our construction and engineering operations in Dublin, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans to determine the scope of work required for mechanical systems.
* Analyze technical documents and project specifications to identify requirements for materials, labor, and equipment.
* Prepare detailed estimates and develop relationships with suppliers to optimize costs and timelines.
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost projections and efficient resource allocation.
* Coordinate with other trades to guarantee seamless integration of all mechanical systems.
* Evaluate change orders and provide timely and accurate estimates.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical estimating.
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and their applications.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex projects.
* The ability to read and interpret technical documents with ease.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
