Senior Environmental Consultant Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team in Dublin as a key member of our Environmental Team. This role plays a pivotal part in driving project success and leading challenging and exciting projects.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership qualities, be highly driven, and excel in a team environment. A strong balance of technical expertise and project management skills is crucial to lead a variety of complex projects effectively.
This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work options within the EU, with occasional travel to our Dublin office required.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and overseeing the coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Reports, and Industrial Emission (IE) Directive Licence applications.
* Technical report writing including preparation of EIA scoping and screening reports, Human Health Impact Assessment, Operational Reports and Technical Opinions.
* Providing mentorship and direction to team members and sub-consultants, ensuring high standards and effective project delivery.
* Communicating with clients, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with all project requirements.
* Managing complex projects and programmes, including post-planning approval assistance and strategic oversight.
* Crafting proposals and developing strategies to address and anticipate client needs.
Requirements:
* A minimum of five years' experience working in the environmental sector.
* A proven track record in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and/or EPA Industrial Emissions Licensing.
* A minimum BSc or BA (Hons) degree in environmental science or a related discipline.
* Exceptional organisational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to lead initiatives.
* High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to assemble various strands of complex data into clear, concise outputs.
* The ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
* >5 Years Experience.
* A Full Clean Driving Licence.
* Experience in site inspection or environmental auditing.
