Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Social Care Workers to join our residential care team. Our services provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people who may be living away from home.
As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to achieve their full potential by promoting their wellbeing, independence, and personal development. This includes working as part of a team to provide day-to-day care, building positive relationships, and contributing to care planning in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential setting.
* Build trusting, professional relationships that encourage growth, resilience, and independence.
* Contribute to the implementation of individual care plans and daily routines.
* Support young people in developing life skills, education, cultural awareness and social opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Social Care or a related field.
* Previous experience working with young people in a care, educational, or community setting is an advantage.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
