Dublin Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with a population under 18 of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow.
Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow.
Registered Psychiatric Staff Nurse (Full -Time 37.5 hours, Permanent Post) Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are now inviting applications for the post of Registered Psychiatric Staff Nurse.

Role Summary We are currently seeking to expand our community team by employing a dynamic and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to work as part of a service for children and adolescents with mental health challenges.
The Service actively promotes multidisciplinary teamwork, continuing professional development and innovation in Community Psychiatric Nursing.
This includes Nurse prescribing and Advanced Nurse Practitioners roles for those people wishing to advance their education, responsibilities and skills.
Minimum Requirements The successful candidate must: a) Be registered within the psychiatric nursing division with NMBI.
b) Provide evidence that they are engaging in continuing professional development.
c) Have excellent communication, teamwork, organisational and interpersonal skills, embracing the recovery philosophy of Mental Health Nursing.
Experience of working with children and adolescents, preferably in a mental health setting, is desirable but not essential.
Remuneration Salary Grade 2674 Mental Health Staff Nurse on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale € per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Lucena Clinic, Rathgar .
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
