Student Services Coordinator Required For Leading University In D2 - Up to 40K

The role involves working closely with the student body in the planning, organising, and roll out of events and activities for all societies in addition to their budget allocation, spend management and reporting deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide a comprehensive range of services to all Societies This i nvolves supporting and overseeing a range of action items and activities including budget allocation, event bookings, venue hire, catering, security, purchases, payments and reimbursements in addition to providing high levels of support, guidance, direction and problem solving to committee members in the execution of their roles.
2. Co-ordinate and deliver a host of events
3. Deliver the units Merchandise service including managing all stock and stock levels, cash handling/lodgements, auditing processes and relevant reporting, internal orders and the sourcing and delivery of new items to the catalogue. It also includes overseeing the weekly Pop Up Shops
4. Manage all exchange programs including liaising with stakeholders, arranging application process, setting up interviews, provision of information to incoming and outgoing students. Providing support with accommodation, visa and immigration, orientation, liaising with all departments on a range of supports to facilitate a smooth transition for each student.
5. Support the Foundation year students to coordinate, plan and implement their Fundraising Electives..
6. Attend weekly activities meetings and manage action items resulting from same.
7. Support the services and activities of the Student Services Office as listed above.

Knowledge & Experience (essential):

8. Strong administrative skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
9. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
10. Ability to work to deadlines, find solutions and solve problems
11. Team Player capable of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
12. Ability to retain information and to use such information effectively
13. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and establish courses of action to achieve objectives
14. Capable of learning quickly and responding effectively to changing student needs and circumstances
15. Generate ideas and deliver improvement in processes
