About the Role
The Sales Manager will lead the Account Manager team in delivering sales targets and fostering a culture of customer obsession.
This individual will possess strong commercial acumen and lead a team of 5-10 Account Managers in achieving exceptional performance.
The successful candidate will support the Operations Manager in delivering the strategic plan for the department and establish strategies to convert sales leads to new business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct management and motivation of Account Managers to ensure maximum potential is met.
2. Support the Operations Manager in delivering the strategic plan for the department.
3. Establish strategies to convert sales leads to new business and penetrate existing accounts.
4. Meet and exceed sales and margin targets while ensuring sales growth across the basket.
5. Analyse reports and provide timely feedback to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
* 5+ years of proven food or foodservice sales experience.
* 3+ years of experience managing people, with a remote team management advantage.
* Proven ability to maintain and grow sales using Salesforce.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good knowledge of KPIs and business metrics.
