Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) administrator to join our team in Dublin. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical compliance processes, support a busy EHS team and gain hands-on experience in a key administrative position.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update H&S records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Process and securely file accident/incident reports, maintaining confidentiality and following established protocols.
* Track H&S training attendance and completion status, providing timely reminders and follow-ups as needed.
* Respond promptly to H&S related emails and internal queries, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Keep noticeboards up to date with safety communications and alerts, promoting a culture of safety awareness within the organization.
* Support site inductions, ensuring all required documentation is completed and accurately recorded.
* Monitor and follow up on outstanding corrective actions from inspections or audits, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
* Assist with preparing reports and materials for H&S meetings, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Schedule training sessions, toolbox talks and other safety events, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Compile statistics on incidents, near misses, and safety observations, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
* Liaise with departments to chase overdue documents, demonstrating exceptional organizational and time management skills.
* Maintain up-to-date contractor H&S documentation and approval records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in H&S or compliance.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* High attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to maintain high standards of quality and precision.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to utilize software applications to support business needs.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills.
* Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to data protection principles.
