Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Mine Planning & Scheduling section.
This is a senior position responsible for providing operational support on mine design, ground support and stability risk assessment. The role involves a combination of office and underground work, requiring strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining ground control management plans, designing ground support standards and rehabilitation plans for underground excavations. You will also be required to develop geotechnical procedures, review mine designs and plans ensuring they meet rock mechanics principles and geotechnical standards.
