Fota Wildlife Park is seeking a professional and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Park Director and Senior Management Team. This key role ensures the smooth running of the Park Director's office while contributing to Fota Wildlife Parks mission in wildlife conservation, education, and community engagement.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent judgment, and maintain the highest levels of discretion, professionalism, and initiative.
Your Role at Fota:
* Manage busy diaries, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and reports, and record minutes.
* Arrange travel, conferences, and events for the Park Director and senior management team.
* Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide administrative and governance support to the Board of Governors and Board Committees.
* Handle correspondence, draft communications, and manage digital and physical filing systems.
* Support strategic projects, staff events, and organisational initiatives.
About You:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant at senior level.
* Friendly, approachable, and professional manner, with strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisation and communication skills, with great attention to detail.
* Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft365 (Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams).
* A proactive, flexible and solutions-orientated approach and willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends.
Desirable:
Experience in the nonprofit, tourism, or conservation sector, and a genuine passion for wildlife and sustainability.
