Job summary:
Due to the continued success of the commercial division we are now seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to join our commercial sales team. Large solar PV and battery systems (100kWh +) will constitute most of the sales in this role.
Due to the continued growth in the region we would ideally like any applicant to be based in the Munster region.
This commercial focused position fits in perfectly with the broader sales team and the candidate will be responsible for generating new business within the commercial sector. The successful candidate will work closely with our commercial team and the sales support team to propose a bespoke solution for each customer to ensure their key needs are met.
Responsibilities
* Prioritise, manage, and engage with high-potential sales leads in the commercial sector.
* Plan, schedule and conduct comprehensive site surveys with prospective clients.
* Facilitate in-depth technical discussions with customers to fully understand their requirements and propose suitable designs.
* Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure a seamless and detailed handover is achieved when each order is placed.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
* Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through targeted business development initiatives.
* Maintain and manage your sales pipeline, providing timely reports when required.
* Stay informed about product developments and industry trends
* Keep customers continuously updated on product modifications, technological advancements, subsidies, and grid connection changes.
What we are looking for
* Proven sales experience ideally in a commercial Solar PV sales environment.
* Technical sales experience or relevant technical qualifications are advantageous.
* Electrical qualifications and experience are highly desirable.
* Previous experience with solar energy or energy saving technologies is an advantage
* Demonstrated track record of being customer obsessed.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges
* Commercially astute with a strong customer focus.
* Computer literate with strong proficiency in MS Office
* Used to working with CRM software would be useful
* Holder of a full Irish driving licence
