Job Title: Health and Safety Project Manager
Salary:
£22.65 hourly rate
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Project Manager to lead and manage a project that involves applying a structured approach to meet the specific requirements of the project.
The successful candidate will establish a good working relationship with the Senior Responsible Owner, develop and maintain an agreed project plan and detailed stage plans, understand and apply business case and risk management processes.
The Project Manager will also tailor expert knowledge to meet specific circumstances, plan and manage deployment of physical and financial resources to meet project milestones, build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and take forward a set of existing recommendations
* Apply a structured approach (PRINCE2) to the specific requirements of the project
* Establish a good working relationship with the Senior Responsible Owner
* Develop and maintain an agreed project plan and detailed stage plans
* Understand and apply business case and risk management processes
* Tailor expert knowledge to meet specific circumstances
* Plan and manage deployment of physical and financial resources to meet project milestones
* Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project
Requirements:
* Hold a Project Management Certification (Prince2 or equivalent)
* Hold NEBOSH Certification (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in managing remedial repair projects
* Overseeing consultants and contractors on site
* A strong understanding of building regulations and safety standards
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Full current driver's license, or means of transport to fulfil the requirements of the post
