Job Title: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5pm to 1am (you will be working as part of a team of 25 Evening Shift colleagues)
Salary: €33,600.00
Benefits: After 6 months, employees are entitled to Laya Healthcare. There is also an annual bonus, free parking, the option to "buy" additional annual leave, and the option to join the company pension scheme.
Hybrid working policy: For the first 6 months, employees work on-site with the option to then apply for hybrid working 1 - 3 days from home. This depends on individual performance.
Driving License: This role is based in East Galway City, and public transport is scarce during the evening. We recommend that applicants have a driving license and a car.
Training and Support: The training and support provided are excellent, with two department trainers, a team lead, and a team of 50 Customer Service Representatives. There will always be someone available to support new starters.
POSITION SUMMARY
* Due to team expansion, our client in East Galway City now requires a Customer Service Representative to work in the customer service department handling global customer inquiries.
* You will handle queries via telephone, email, and chat, primarily assisting customers and partners in the United States.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Respond to customer and employee questions/concerns efficiently and effectively, resolving issues related to the company's products, including order queries, price queries, complaints, refunds, etc.
* Maintain knowledge of the company's facilities, websites, products, promotions, policies, and procedures.
* Represent the company professionally, courteously, and efficiently.
* Complete documentation according to in-house standards and comply with all procedures.
* Report to the Customer Service Team Leader and work within a team of 50 Customer Service Representatives, including 25 evening shift colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Native language speaker of one or more languages is desirable but not essential.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a call centre or customer service environment.
* Good communication skills.
* Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
