We are seeking experienced Physicians who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in the surrounding region part time or full time.

Job Summary
Urgent care Physicians provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.

ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care currently has 16 locations: 14 in Delaware and 2 in Maryland.
Job Requirements
Education
* Graduate of an accredited medical school required
Work Experience
* 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required
* Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required
* Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications
* Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
* Active state medical licensure
Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
* Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
* Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Preferred
* Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
* Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
Essential Functions
Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives. Following are the essential functions of the job.
* Examining and treating patients
* Taking patients’ medical histories
* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
* Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
* Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
* Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
* Educating and counseling patients
* Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
* Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
* All other duties as assigned

Full time provider $204,516 - $262,080 annually before value incentive
