Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with directors and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a cost consultancy firm, managing and delivering projects through all stages of construction. Key skills and qualifications required include:
* Developing detailed cost plans and budget estimates
* Preparing accurate Bills of Quantities
* Reviewing and evaluating tenders from contractors
* Negotiating and agreeing on variations with clients
* Providing timely and comprehensive cost reports
* Managing final account settlements efficiently

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* At least 8 years of experience in quantity surveying in Ireland or the UK, preferably in a consultancy setting
* Professional membership to SCSI (preferably held)
* Valid working rights within Ireland or the EU
