Operations Management Job Description
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our internally outsourced service providers while supporting the Head of Operations in handling day-to-day business activities. This role is crucial in ensuring we meet the needs of European clients and comply with the expectations of the Central Bank of Ireland.
To succeed as an Operations Manager, you should have experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to leadership and Board Directors. You should also possess advanced stakeholder management capability, a proven understanding & experience of the regulatory landscape for financial services, particularly as it relates to outsourcing & Digital Operational Resilience, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail, and a good understanding of how the various functions of a licenced payment institution or similar business operates.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders (including business leaders, project managers, and SMEs) and external stakeholders (including vendors and service providers) to support business operations and promote alignment with the bank's objectives and SLAs. You will also collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
