Description
This is a development role which will involve broad exposure to the activities of the Sales and Portfolio group as directed by the SVP Portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with the portfolio team, and other departments as required.
Role Responsibilities
* Collection and analysis of market data.
* Valuation of aircraft/engine packages and the underlying leases.
* Identification, analysis and reporting of re-marketing opportunities.
* Coordination and communication with other disciplines within the company in the preparation of customer proposals and during the execution of leases and Sales.
* Preparation of commercial term sheets and customer proposals for senior management review.
* Support engine leasing function with other disciplines within the company in the preparation of lease proposals and closing process.
* Supporting and ultimately leading deal teams in the negotiation and closing of asset sales.
* Provide support for other Portfolio Department functions related to engine sales, servicing and other analysis as required.
Essential
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, aeronautical engineering, recognised aviation technical qualification or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 – 5 years direct aviation related experience preferred.
* Demonstrable understanding of leasing / finance.
* Willingness to travel.
Desired
* Experience in an aviation or engine related business.
* Financial Skills - experience with operating lease structures.
* Fluency in a 2nd language is an advantage.
