Job Title: Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist
Location: Dublin, Ireland
The primary objective of this position is to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to mothers who have recently given birth. This involves developing and delivering a specialist physiotherapy service that prioritizes access, choice, communication, cultural diversity, and patient participation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert clinical service to the Women's Health and Continence service.
* Ensure a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management is provided for patients and that professional standards are adhered to.
* Evaluate and develop the clinical specialist role through clinical audit and research.
* Return key performance indicators and patient statistics on a monthly basis.
* Provide expert clinical lead for Women's Health and Continence senior/physiotherapy colleagues.
Requirements:
* Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognized by the Physiotherapists Registration Board and be registered on the physiotherapy register maintained by CORU (proof required).
* Confident, self-motivated, reliable, flexible, able to work in a team and independently with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to apply behavior change and motivational interview skills.
* Experience in audit, evaluation, research, quality improvement, and dissemination of results.
