Retail Manager
My client is a high-volume retailer stocking a broad range of products across Gifts & Home, Household, Hardware, Health & Beauty, DIY, Kitchenware, and more
With shops nationwide, they are opening a brand-new store in Waterford City and are looking for an Assistant Manager and a Store Manager to oversee a team of up to 20.

Salary is €34.5k – €40k depending on the role and experience
You will be a bubbly, energetic sales and KPI driven manager with a passion for people management, coaching and development.
Key Responsibilities for the job of Retail Store Manager:
1. Lead your team in providing exceptional customer service.
2. Motivate the team in delivering the store KPI's including sales, stock, audits, and mystery shops
3. Analyse sales figures and forecasting future sales
4. Interpret trends to facilitate planning
5. Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
6. Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store standards
7. Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry
8. Monitor all variable costs within the limits of budgetary control
9. Organise and prioritising daily tasks, optimising resources, and minimising costs
10. Develop your team by acting as a role model and coach
11. Manage day to day operations and administration
12. Ensure all company guidelines, procedures and policies are implemented and adhered to
13. Analyse and forecasting sales and monitoring all variable operating costs
