Responsibilities:
This role will be very much about adding value to the Company – they want a talented, ambitious individual, to enhance the team with their ability. You will work closely with a number of different stakeholders and carry out a number of value-adding accounting tasks in a broad finance role. The Hiring Manager describes the team as close knit and the culture as being really good and supportive.
This role involves managing the transaction team and overseeing financial aspects of acquisitions, including debt management, tax compliance, and accounting setup. It also includes leading audits, regulatory reporting, and ensuring financial data accuracy. Additionally, the role supports policy design, system upgrades, and various financial projects.
About the person:
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a dynamic environment.
* Aircraft leasing-related experience required.
* Big 4/Top 10 trained would be an advantage.
* Experience of working through complex accounting issues.
* Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
