Job Summary:

About the Role:
The Marketing Assistant will support the Finance and Operations Manager in enhancing the organization's commercial and marketing presence. Key responsibilities include:
* Identifying and pursuing new opportunities for revenue generation through sponsorships, partnerships, and other commercial initiatives.
* Developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and commercial footprint.
* Supporting the Communications Officer in managing and developing the organization's website and social media platforms.
* Assisting in the promotion and administration of club championship fixtures and related marketing campaigns.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term collaboration and support.
* Coordinating travel arrangements for county teams.
* Delivering a high standard of customer service to sponsors and partners, responding promptly and professionally to queries.
* Carrying out general administrative tasks as required to support operations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A third-level qualification in marketing or a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
* The ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Proficiency in IT systems and office software packages.
* A proven track record of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* The willingness and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Desirable Criteria:
Prior experience working with a sporting organization would be an advantage, but is not essential. What matters most is that you have a passion for marketing and a desire to make a real impact in this role.
