Job Type Permanent Full-Time Remote Work Option Hybrid Category Finance Location Dublin City, County Dublin, Ireland Job Details Role Title: Health & Wellbeing Financial Reporting Accountant Role Location: Abbey Street Company: Vhi H&W Contract: 14 month FTC A full-time and fixed term role and contract of 14 months has arisen within Vhi for a Health & Wellbeing Financial Reporting Accountant.
Responsible for production and reporting of Financial Accounts for all Health & Wellbeing ("H&W") entities, including Annual Financial Statements and Monthly Financial Results.

Control postings to multi-company ledgers for H&W group and ensure all postings are in line with relevant reporting standards.
Review the intercompany journals posted each month to ensure accuracy of intercompany balances reported.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and the monthly delivery of a controlled trial balance for all entities in the H&W group.
Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Preparation and review of monthly H&W Business consolidated financial reports to strict deadlines.
Contribute to a strong control environment within the financial reporting team.
Ensure that key controls and reconciliation processes are kept up to date for postings to the ledgers of the H&W group.
Accounting systems development - suggest improvements including adopting/adapting new technology.
Develop and suggest improvements to existing processes around reconciliation and ledger close.
Ability to prepare, analyse and summarise ESG trends through reports and bulletins for use by the Head of Sustainability and the Board.
Continuously review processes and controls to achieve full audit assurance to include implementing applicable internal and external audit recommendations Education & Experience Experience working in financial control.
Good understanding of reconciliation methodology.
Experience working with Multi Company Ledgers.
Strong technical skills, Data warehouse, Excel and SQL.
Strong understanding of system implementation and controls Ability to liaise at all levels and approachable.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong written communication and reporting ability.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interact with persons at all levels across the group.
Self-motivated, proactive, ability to ensure tasks are finalised to strict deadlines.
Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values Skills and Abilities Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) / 0-3 year of PQE.
