Job Title: Service Advisor Location: Sandyford Motors, Dublin 18 Reporting To: Service Manager Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Purpose: To act as the first point of contact for customers requiring vehicle servicing or repairs. The Service Advisor will ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication, efficient scheduling, and coordination with the workshop, delivering a seamless and high-quality aftersales experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers in a professional, friendly manner and assess their service needs. Book vehicles in for service and repair using dealership software. Provide accurate estimates for work and agree on timelines and costs with customers. Liaise with technicians to monitor vehicle progress and ensure timely updates to customers. Advise customers on additional repairs and provide explanations for work required. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints with a solutions-focused approach. Manage job cards and ensure accurate records of work are maintained. Promote aftersales products and services where appropriate. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role in the motor industry. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of automotive systems (advantageous but not essential). Strong organizational and administrative skills. Competent in Microsoft Office and DMS (Dealer Management System) software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualifications: Leaving Certificate or equivalent (essential). Further training in automotive or customer service (desirable).
