Overview
Student Recruitment Manager role to lead and develop the recruitment team across the Hibernia College Group, covering Education, Health Sciences, and Professional Development. The role requires a people- and relationship-focused individual who can inspire and coach a team while building meaningful connections with prospective learners. A learner-first mindset with a consultative selling approach is essential.
Success depends on strong analytical skills, CRM management and data hygiene, and the ability to design and optimise recruitment processes. An educational or training background, combined with commercial drive, will help deliver growth while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver enrolment targets across all programmes for the group.
* Deliver a coordinated annual campaign plan with the digital marketing team and align with key stakeholders for shared ownership.
* Focus on performance optimization and process improvement using data and insight across all sales and marketing touchpoints.
* Manage the sales funnel and key metrics to generate leads, sales and opportunities, with ongoing performance improvement and innovation.
* Embed a quality-first recruitment culture, balancing performance metrics with learner satisfaction.
* Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing student recruitment team; establish targets for the team; provide coaching and professional development.
* Lead by example in supporting complex or high-value learner enrolments when required.
* Monitor quality metrics (enquiry-to-application conversion, application accuracy, learner satisfaction) and use data to inform resource allocation and continuous improvement.
* Audit recruitment interactions to ensure professionalism and compliance; ensure activities comply with data protection, sector regulations, and accreditation standards.
* Collaborate with Admissions, Finance, IT, Marketing, Academic, and Student Success teams to optimise the learner journey from enquiry to enrolment.
* Review and optimise CRM operations; implement automation, lead scoring, and dashboards for senior management; develop alumni strategies and market segmentation to enhance recruitment strategy.
* Develop automated learner nurture journeys tailored to each school; segment communications by learner personas; monitor engagement metrics to refine messaging.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Sales Recruitment Manager or Team Leader with multi-channel sales experience.
* Education or student/learner recruitment experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams; excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Experience managing CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and implementing automation workflows.
* Strong analytical skills with data-driven performance management; results-oriented and learner-focused.
Desirable
* Experience in B2C recruitment or sales within higher education, training, or professional accreditation.
* Knowledge of compliance-driven environments in higher education or regulated sectors.
* Experience leading recruitment strategies across multiple schools, faculties, or business units.
