Job Title: Business Growth Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive sales growth and revenue by acquiring and growing a substantial portfolio of complex or high-yield accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leverage expertise to engage potential prospects, generating interest and securing meetings or presentations.
* Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that address prospects' needs and clearly communicate the value of our services.
* Lead the entire account process from identification to closing, including pricing negotiations and expectation management, to achieve favourable financial outcomes.
* Conduct thorough research and analysis of markets and industries to identify new relationship opportunities, target new accounts, and expand existing client relationships.
* Maintain strong, professional relationships with insurers, prospects and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, uphold commitments, and foster long-term partnerships.
* Represent us at industry events, conferences, and professional organisations to expand your network, stay informed on industry trends, and enhance our visibility and reputation.
Requirements:
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while contributing positively to a supportive team culture.
* Several years of experience within an insurance professional role, bringing a deep understanding of the industry, client needs, and sales strategies.
* Strong technical insurance competency, combined with a genuine eagerness to continuously develop skills and knowledge, stay ahead of industry trends and deliver innovative solutions.
* Fully qualified CIP. Working towards or fully qualified ACII.
