About the Role This position is based at the research farm in Crossnacreevy. The role involves hands-on work with crop trials, including wheat, barley, oats, and grasses. Youll play a key role in supporting field experiments and maintaining high standards in farm operations. Key Responsibilities Ploughing fields Spraying crops Sowing seeds Harvesting using combine machinery Operating Haldrups and other specialist equipment Using fertiliser spreaders Lawn maintenance with Kubota machinery Essential Criteria Minimum of 2 GCSEs (grades A*-C), including English Language and Maths, or equivalent qualifications At least 6 months of relevant experience in tasks such as ploughing, spraying, sowing, and combining A valid UK driving licence Desirable Skills & Experience PA1 and PA2a spraying qualifications Benefits: Paid Holidays Pension
