We provide end-to-end automation and integration solutions to the medical device industry.Overview of role:Become part of a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary team delivering automated equipment solutions from concept through to full implementationMachine control system software design, development & commissioningIndividual contributor role – expert in programming of automated machinesA great opportunity to work on the design of high-tech engineering applicationsMain Tasks:· Design and integrate control system software for automated machines including PLCs, Robotics, Motion, HMI, SCADA, Vision· Develop, test, commission & support machine control software· Support our Technical Writer in creating validation documentation required for regulated industries (URS, FDS, FAT, etc)· Specification of control system components· Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary project team throughout an entire project life cycle· Provide technical direction & support to other controls team membersExperience:· 10yrs+ of experince in Equipment Automation - PLC & HMI experience essential, preferably with Allen Bradley· Expert knowledge of automated machine design, specification & development· Proven experience with robotics, motion control, machine vision, pneumatics etc.Requirements:· Excellent communication skills· Proactive and energetic approach· Strong organisational skills· A quality minded outlook and a problem-solving attitude· Needs to work well in a multifunctional team· Driving Licence and ability to travel (infrequent)
