Full job descriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the kitchen staff by helping with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.Monitor and record food an equipment temperatureMaintaining a clean and safe working environment including pot/dish wash and deep clean dutiesMaintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always.To use chemical products as shown, wearing the accurate personal protective equipment (P.P.E) and to observe manual handling regulations when lifting pulling or carrying heavy objects.Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to in particular H.A.C.C.P regulationsTo assist chefs with the checking in of food deliveries ensuring that only the highest standards of produce is accepted into the units.To ensure that all food storage align with food hygiene regulations and stock rotation system is being followed.Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.Preparation of service area and/or service points.Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.Experience Required● Previous experience working as a kitchen assistant or Prep or Kp.● Knowledge of HACCP● General knowledge of food preparation● Able to work full time in IrelandJob Type: Part-timePay: From €13.50 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 40 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
