We're now looking for a
Field Service Engineer
to join our Limerick team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining security systems and providing excellent service to our customers.
What you'll do..
* Maintain intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems at a variety of customer sites.
* Carry out fault finding and first-line support for security system issues.
* Complete planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installations, as required.
* Respond to service calls and maintenance visits using the PDA system, working closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk Coordinators.
* Manage van stock, tools, and safety equipment to ensure you're fully prepared for each visit.
* Adhere to Health, Safety, and Quality standards at all times.
* Participate in the on-call rota when required.
* Maintain accurate reports and documentation for all service activities.
What You'll Bring
* Technical knowledge of intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems (e.g., Pacom, Hikvision, HKC, Galaxy).
* Experience with IP-based systems and strong fault-finding skills.
* A solid background in the security, fire, or communications industry.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Professional, organised, and able to work independently under pressure.
* Proficiency with PDA systems and basic administration skills.
* A willingness to learn and stay up to date with new technology and industry developments.
* Full driving license.
