Flexsource NI are currently recruiting for an Junior Buyer on a permanent fulltime basis, within the Newry area.
Responsibilities: With a full JD available on request, you will: *Raise purchase orders, monitor order statuses and manage lead times to meet production schedules *Liaise with suppliers and coordinate with logisticsto ensure timely delivery of materials.
Regularly updating inventory records and highlighting requirements for replenishment *Assist with sourcing and negotiating the purchase of materials, comparing costs from multiple suppliers *Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities across different software packages *Provide administrative support to the purchasing team Requirements: *Previous experience in a purchasing role would be advantageous *Previous administrative experience within construction or engineering industries would be advantageous *Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages(Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
