Overview
The Spa at Cashel Palace Hotel seeks a highly skilled Assistant Spa Manager to oversee daily spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage staff efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage front of house contact for spa guests and team members regarding spa products, treatments, and facilities.
* Deliver 5-star service and exceed guest expectations.
* Maintain operational and financial control of the Spa & Pool/Gym area, ensuring viability.
* Update various operating systems such as Hot Soft Spa, Alkimii, and Procure Wizard (or similar platforms).
* Coordinate daily spa operations, including staff hiring, training, scheduling appointments, and organizing events.
* Liaise with other hotel departments for optimal guest experience.
* Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager on marketing plans and promotional projects.
* Handle stock ordering, inventory auditing, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate stock management.
* Oversee daily financial transactions, budgets, P&L, and cash handling.
* Support, motivate, and give feedback to staff; develop training and onboarding programs.
* Possess strong therapeutic and treatment skills along with product retail sales experience.
* Consult with the spa manager on business decisions such as pricing and hiring.
* Schedule staff efficiently to ensure proper coverage.
* Review customer feedback for continuous improvement.
