What You'll Be Doing As a Senior Project Engineer - Water, you'll lead and deliver wastewater and water treatment & distribution design packages across diverse sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Lead water and wastewater design and technical delivery across project stages Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians Prepare and review calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and project requirements Oversee project timelines, team resources, and deliverables Contribute to proposals, bids, and business development activities Uphold quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout What You Bring Essential Qualifications & Experience Degree and/or Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering Chartered (or working toward) with ICE/IStruct E, or equivalent Minimum 5 years' experience in the design and contract administration of water distribution systems, including water treatment, in the UK/Ireland Considerable proven experience in the design of wastewater collector systems, pumped systems and wastewater treatment Knowledge of the Public Works Contracts, FIDIC, local legislation and its application.
