Role Overview:
We operate the power system with leading-edge levels of renewable generation, ensuring a stable and secure electricity supply to all our customers.
The Cloud Service Delivery Manager will play a key role in leading this transformation by overseeing the delivery of cloud-based services that support critical corporate, market, and power systems business needs.
This involves managing the design, delivery, and maintenance of IT platforms, as well as the management and maintenance of servers, storage, database, email, networks, telecommunications systems, and security solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of DevOps professionals to ensure continuous improvement of cloud-based services on Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
* Ensure services are aligned with business needs, meet SLAs, and follow best practices in cloud governance, operations, and architecture.
* Direct a core team of professionals operating in a partnership model with all areas of the business and specific service providers.
* Evaluate services against Key Performance Indicators and serve as the primary interface with internal stakeholders for quality assurance.
Requirements:
* Qualification in a relevant discipline plus 8+ years of experience in a leadership role.
* Proven experience in technical project delivery management in a large-scale enterprise.
* Strong background in cloud technologies, especially Azure and Oracle OCI/customer@cloud.
* Experience in complex migration programs.
* Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience with ITIL, Agile, and Waterfall deliveries.
* Passionate about the employee and stakeholder experience, strong service and customer orientation, and commercially focused.
* Expert at managing the delivery of critical services through 3rd party vendors.
* Ability to lead programs in service and process design, implementation, and improvement.
* Experience of working in a regulated environment, preferably utility based, understanding of regulations and licence obligations.
