Job Title: Farm Operations Manager


Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of a pig farm, ensuring the health and well-being of pigs at all stages of production. This includes managing feeding, care, and vaccinations, as well as coordinating with veterinarians as needed.

* Manage and oversee all aspects of the pig farm, including the daily care, feeding, and well-being of pigs
* Evaluate the physical performance of pigs against best practice and ensure standards are progressed to achieve best practice
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including DAFM and EPA
* Implement a standardized work routine and pig flow rotation across all aspects of the farm


Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years in a farm management role, preferably within pig farming. They must have technical and practical competence, as well as the ability to make sound husbandry and business decisions.
