Senior Building Services Engineer – Modular Data Centre Solutions (Silent Aire, Dublin)What you will doLead mechanical and electrical building services design for modular data centre units.Develop designs from concept through detailed design supporting off‑site manufacture.Ensure compliance with performance, redundancy, and energy efficiency requirements.Produce and review calculations, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.Descriptions of Operation (DoO) & Control NarrativesAuthor and maintain Descriptions of Operation (DoO) for modular data centre systems.Define system intent, sequences of operation, interlocks, and failure responses.Align DoO documentation with P&IDs, BMS point lists, I/O schedules, and testing scripts.Act as technical authority for operational narratives.Project Delivery & CoordinationCoordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including BIM, controls, manufacturing, and commissioning.Interface with clients, consultants, and vendors during design reviews.Support factory testing and site integration activities.What we look forDegree in Building Services Engineering.Extensive experience in MEP design for mission‑critical or data centre environments.Experience working with modular or off‑site manufactured systems is highly desirable.Strong technical expertise in building services for mission‑critical facilities.Proven experience authoring Descriptions of Operation and control narratives.Ability to translate design intent into clear operational documentation.Excellent communication, coordination, and technical leadership skills.
