Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our commercial operations in Dublin. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to manage the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost reconciliation and forecasting, payment claims, change control, and delay/disruption analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commercial Operations Manager: Oversee the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Payment Claims Specialist: Prepare and agree on monthly project Payment Claims, maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Contract Administration: Compile and issue Sub Contracts, negotiate and agree Sub Contractor final accounts, and assume the role of Commercial Lead on assigned projects.
* Clients Liaison: Liaise with Clients and Client Representatives to ensure effective communication and resolution of commercial matters.
* Contract Provisions Administration: Administer contract provisions, procure subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying.
* Contractually and commercially astute with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Proficient in IT, with experience working with Cubit, CostX & COINS software packages preferred.
