Job Description
We are recruiting Health care assistant to help support a person with an intellectual disability and/or Autism to enjoy an ordinary life while being supported and empowered so that they can live their life to the fullest while in a residential setting.
Duties
* Support the team to ensure that the service you provide complies with the applicable HIQA regulations.
* Sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
* Ensure compliance with record keeping is in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.
* Work directly with individuals and completing administrative tasks relating to the day-to-day running of the house.
* Be highly organised, have excellent report writing and IT and time management skills.
* Flexibility and openness to change
Our ideal candidate
* Relevant qualifications of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare
* Experience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
* Experience in a HIQA regulation environment and supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards.
* Full Clean Driving License
* 40 hours a week
