The successful candidate will create allocated environments and props for the designated show, in line with the workflow and pipeline needs and to a consistent style and the quality level required.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality 3D environments and assets to include terrain, architecture, foliage, props, and set dressing.Utilise Unreal Engine and Autodesk Maya to construct and refine environments for optimal performance and visual quality.Collaborate closely with the art team to ensure environments align with artistic vision and production requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to environment creation and integration.Stay up to date with the latest Unreal Engine features and industry's best practices.Working to maintain the Brown Bag modelling pipeline.Developing environment modelling workflows and techniques.Key RequirementsKnowledge:Working knowledge of the overall 3D asset creation pipeline and workflow; set dressing and instancing; previz to modelling workflow.Experience:(Essential) Proven experience as a 3D Environment artist in TV, film, or related industries using Unreal Engine. Strong knowledge of Autodesk Maya. Use of asset tracking systems (e.g. Shotgrid) (desirable).Speed tree (desirable).Technical Skills:Ability to optimise assets for performance without compromising visual quality. A strong portfolio showcasing environment work in Unreal Engine.Salary40, ,000.00
