SHEQ Officer – Shannon & Foynes (Full-Time, Permanent)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | No weekends or night shifts
Reports to: SHEQ Manager

The Role
This is a practical, coordination-heavy role supporting Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) systems across two busy industrial sites.
You'll help ensure compliance, maintain documentation, and support internal teams with training, audits, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate SHEQ records and manage all related documentation
2. Coordinate internal audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations
3. Deliver safety inductions and basic SHEQ training for new staff and visitors
4. Maintain training and preventative maintenance systems
5. Support ISO,, and compliance
6. Review Safety Data Sheets in line with ECHA standards
7. Track corrective actions and update MAI systems
8. Order lab materials, PPE, first aid kits, and labels
9. Maintain vehicle records (ADR, CVRT, driver training and data)
10. Prepare and publish SHEQ KPIs
11. Assist customer service and production teams with certification, inspections, and documentation
Requirements
12. Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
13. Previous experience in a SHEQ role
14. Strong admin and coordination skills
15. Good working knowledge of ISO standards (,, )
16. Confident communicator with excellent organisation skills
17. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
18. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving approach
19. Flexibility to support across teams and sites
20. Full driving licence preferred
