The role of Assistant Financial Controller is a key position in our organisation, responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of finance and central administration. As an accomplished part qualified accountant, you will lead a finance team, ensuring work is undertaken accurately, timely, and efficiently while also promoting team engagement and motivation.
Responsibilities
* Process all financial transactions to trial balance level, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Credit Control functions.
* Ensure adequate financial and system controls are in place and regularly reviewed as directed by the Group Financial Controller.
* Assist in managing the daily cash of the business and producing weekly and quarterly cash forecasts.
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including month-end journals, analysis, KPIs, and submission to Group for consolidation.
* Assist in producing annual budget for the business and monthly/quarterly profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts when required.
Requirements
* Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA accountant with minimum 2 years experience in finance operations.
* Experience with Microsoft NAV or similar product.
* Experience in payroll.
* People management experience essential.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
