Dublin City Centre based.Benefits:Generous salary and benefitsHybrid working / Very flexibleFlexible working hoursResponsibilities for the Purchasing Manager job include:Leading the procurement function and putting processes in place to support business growth and improve operational performance.Managing supplier relationships end-to-end, including sourcing new partners and monitoring supplier performance.Negotiating pricing, supply terms and contracts to deliver value, protect margins and ensure service levels are achieved.Working closely with the company's distribution partner to ensure smooth ordering processes and consistent supply.Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies across purchasing and supply chain activities.Overseeing purchase order management, resolving supplier issues and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, to support planning for promotions and upcoming business initiatives.Reviewing purchasing patterns and analysing trends across the network to support better forecasting and performance.Managing demand planning activity, taking into account seasonal changes, promotions and limited-time product launches.Supporting product development projects with suppliers and contributing to new product sourcing opportunities.Experience required for the Purchasing Manager job includes:Proven experience in a purchasing/procurement role, ideally within a fast-paced commercial or supply-led environment.Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with a track record of improving value and supply performance.A solid understanding of forecasting and demand planning, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.Strong organisational and project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Aoife Clarke is handling the recruitment for this role in complete confidentiality.
