Exchange Trade Funds Operations Supervisor
The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an Exchange Trade Funds Supervisor to join our team in Dublin. Being part of HSBC in Ireland, you’ll help evolve and grow our business.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily Exchange Trade Fund (ETF) trade processing, settlements and reconciliations.
* Oversee the valuation process for the ETF funds and ensure accurate and timely delivery of NAVs.
* Ensure clients and stakeholders deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
* Act as an escalation point for the client and relevant stakeholders.
* Work effectively with a broad range of HSBC stakeholders and department initiatives, projects underway and new products in the pipeline.
* Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
* Maintain accurate control and oversight over all migrated processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all ETF deliverables.
* Be client aware and contribute to a successful business implementation process and on boarding of new funds.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, demonstrating a thorough understanding of ETF Operating Model and ensure Fund Administrators operate in accordance with same.
* Provide management information such as KPI and board reporting, on a regular basis to the relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure ETF operations procedure is followed and ensure management of risks of any issue arising.
* Ensure a proven track record of excellent client service and KPI delivery.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in Fund administration, Transfer agency or financial operations.
* A sound understanding of risk management, its impact on the ETF process and mitigating tools or techniques.
* Thorough knowledge of ETFs and have excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
