Senior Site Engineer

The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate site engineering activities on construction projects.
Oversee and support Site Engineers and Junior Engineers.
Carry out and supervise setting out and surveying using total stations and GPS equipment.
Ensure works are constructed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Manager, subcontractors, and design team to resolve technical issues.
Monitor progress of works and assist in maintaining project programmes.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate site records, QA documentation, and as-built drawings.
Attend site meetings and contribute to project coordination and planning.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years' experience working as a Site Engineer within the construction industry.
Experience working on commercial construction projects is desirable.
Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying, and construction drawings.
Experience using surveying equipment such as Total Stations and GPS.
Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and quality procedures.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full clean driving licence.
Role is fully site based.
