Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Summary
About the Role
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage M&E projects from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Oversight: Manage financial aspects of M&E projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
* Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for projects.
* Procurement Management: Oversee procurement process including tender document preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor negotiation.
* Contract Administration: Administer contracts, assessing and valuing variations and claims, ensuring contractual compliance.
* Cost Control and Reporting: Monitor project costs, prepare regular financial reports, and provide accurate cost forecasts.
* Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks to the project, implementing effective risk management strategies.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on M&E projects.
* Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional Membership: RICS or CIOB membership is highly desirable.
