Base pay range

Structural Engineer
We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our fast‑growing, innovative team. The successful candidate will support our Technical Director and Head of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Review architect’s drawings and propose design solutions.
Perform structural calculations of façade elements and components.
Estimate wind pressure for cladding design.
Ensure good economical design, encouraging standardisation of details, to achieve best use of available resources.
Liaise with consultants and design team.
Keep abreast of product and system developments.
Visit site as required, assisting with contract/site management.
Represent company at meetings.
Resolve technical difficulties.
Key Skills Knowledge
Possess essential personal, interpersonal and group skills.
Possess fundamental knowledge of structural engineering.
Be able to perform hand calculation of statically determinate structures.
Possess minimum level of understanding of structural behaviour.
Be able to perform design of structural elements according to Eurocodes.
Be familiar with the application of the Finite Element Method in Structural Engineering.
Be familiar with the properties of construction materials used in facades such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, polymers, natural stone and glass.
Have a broad understanding of Façade Engineering and all aspects involved.
