Role: Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper - Part Time
Business: Facility Flooring
Location: Donohill, Tipperary
We work with construction companies, property managers, architects and designers as well as flooring companies and directly with businesses providing them with individual solutions to meet their requirements
The Role
* Posting of bank transactions
* Reconciliation of accounts
* Coding and inputting of purchase invoices
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Processing of GL journals
* Reconciliation of creditors and preparation of monthly aged creditors reports
* Analysing receipts and processing petty cash transactions
* Assistance in preparation of reports for management
* Managing Cashflow, making payment
* Dealing with admin duties like insurances, plant & machinery purchase
* VAT returns
The Person
* Minimum of 5 years experience
* Excellent computer skills, strong experience and proficiency in Excel and a good working knowledge of Quickbooks or similar accounting package
* Confident to call companies to collect payments
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
* Strong credit control abilities
Schedule
* Part time with flexible working hours - but have to be during office opening hours (our office is open Monday-Friday
* In-office position (hybrid or remote position is not available)
* 20 hours a week
* Own transport is essential due to the location of the workplace
