Purpose
Securitas Technology Ireland are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Install Engineer to become an integral part of our Installation team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role within the installation department involved in the installation and commissioning of installation projects.
Major Responsibilities
Install security systems per required standards and project specs
Collaborate with Project Managers and sub-contractors for successful delivery
Maintain professional appearance and represent Securitas Technology
Support colleagues, share best practices, and encourage teamwork
Participate in people management processes and team meetings
Meet Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines
Willing to work overtime to meet project deadlines
Experience & Knowledge
Experience:
Minimum of 4 – 5 years' proven experience working within the security industry.
Experience working on enterprise level systems (advantageous).
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of electronic security systems and standards.
Proficiency with leading industry norm security products and platforms (e.g., HKC, ACT, Dahua).
Proficiency with leading industry enterprise level security products and platforms (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Ccure etc.) (advantageous).
Understanding of networking principles and system integration.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer service skills and a professional appearance.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Dynamic, forward-thinking, and ambitious with a results-driven mindset.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
