Superannuation (Public Pensions) Manager - Grade VII Location: Glasnevin, Dublin | Sector: Public Sector A leading charity organisation is seeking an experienced Superannuation (Public Pensions) Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Nominated Health Agencies Superannuation Scheme (NHASS) and the Single Public Sector Superannuation Scheme (SPSPS).
This senior role sits within the HR team and works closely with the Director of HR & Ooperations Director to deliver a high-quality, compliant and customer-focused pensions service.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the pensions function, ensuring full compliance with NHASS and SPSPS requirements.
Oversee all superannuation operations, ensuring activities meet national legislation and regulatory standards.
Ensure all new employees are enrolled in the correct pension scheme.
Manage the implementation of automated SPSPS statement systems.
Lead, support and train pensions team members.
Deliver pension presentations during staff induction.
Stay informed on legislative updates from the Department of Health, Department of Finance and DPER.
Liaise regularly with the HSE Pensions Management Unit.
Coordinate NHASS and SPSPS projects and prepare reports as required.
Collate data for service verifications and ensure accuracy in all outputs.
Maintain high standards of attention to detail, governance and service delivery.
Take responsibility for driving improvements and ensuring the smooth running of the pensions function.
Skills & Experience Strong experience in public sector pensions administration, ideally within NHASS and/or SPSPS.
Proven ability to manage a pensions function and lead staff.
Excellent knowledge of public sector pension legislation and regulatory requirements.
High level of accuracy, organisation and accountability.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work proactively in a busy, service-focused environment.
