The Role:
The Assistant Village Manager will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of a busy 500-bedroom student residence. Responsibilities include delivering a quality reception service, providing exceptional support for students, and overseeing a rigorous property management regime.
You will also manage a vibrant summer business activity providing high-quality guest accommodation.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and aim to enhance the student living experience and offer an outstanding guest experience for summer visitors.
Skills & Experience Needed:
* Hold a third-level qualification in hospitality management, business, or facility management
* Minimum of 2 to 3 years of front-line management experience in a busy service environment
* Understanding of excellent customer service management and delivery
* Knowledge of property and facility management
* Knowledge of the student accommodation sector
* Knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and project management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience with property management or hotel software systems
* Sound judgement, effective problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations
The Offer:
This is a permanent role with a base salary ranging from €30,000 to €35,000 per annum, depending on experience, with the opportunity to work as part of a great team.
