Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to manage procurement activities, maintain inventory levels, and support plant operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Source and evaluate competitive quotes; negotiate pricing and terms
* Recommend vendor selection based on reliability, cost, and quality
* Execute purchasing strategies in alignment with the Supply Chain Manager
* Manage non-stock purchases and freight shipments (air/ocean import/export)
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and secure optimal pricing
* Purchase materials in line with inventory targets and BOM accuracy
* Track order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply issues
* Implement and manage cycle counting processes
* Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels and stock availability
* Handle order confirmations, dispatch notes, credit notes, invoices, and shipping documentation
* Resolve issues related to damaged goods, returns, and invoice discrepancies
* Maintain strong communication with suppliers and internal departments
* Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
* Monitor and report on purchasing KPIs
Requirements:
* Diploma or Degree in Business or related field preferred (equivalent experience also considered)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing, customer service, or inventory management
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
